Missions
Greetings, my wife and I are Eric & Serena Evans. Since the Lord brought the two of us together we have known we wanted to follow the Him wherever He leads. Long ago we had both made a commitment to give our lives to Him no matter where that took us or what that looked like. That made for an easy response of "yes" when He called us to minister overseas as expedition leaders. Now our life's mission is to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unreached people and to help equip the American church to do the same! What a wonderful mission for which to lay down our lives.
Overland Missions
The Overland Missions organization exists to reach the most neglected and forgotten people groups of the world and to equip and stir the American church to do the same. Through preaching and a demonstration of the Gospel, with an emphasis on the new creation, we see lives, families, villages, and nations become transformed by the Kingdom of God.
Through a combination of evangelistic missions, long term discipleship, and the raising up and deploying of indigenous leaders, we desire to see people from every tribe, tongue, and nation rise up to become world-changers.
Get Involved
If you have a desire to participate in reaching the corners of the earth with the Gospel here are a few ways you can get involved:
- Come with us on a two-four week evangelistic trip to be immersed in the culture of an area as you preach and minister to unreached people.
- Consider attending Advanced Missions Training for three months at Overland's main logistical base in Zambia, Africa in order to be trained and equipped for an assignment in the full-time missions field.
- Invite Overland missionaries, such as ourselves, to come to your church for a weekend event in order to bring revival and to call your congregation to join us on a short-term trip to the nations.
